Mississauga Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is a selection of treatments that focus on the aesthetics of your teeth and smile. There are different options available to transform either a single tooth’s appearance or perform a complete smile makeover.

For many people, a beautiful smile is the first step to a happier and healthier life. Trillium Smile Dentistry can help you achieve this goal.

Dr. Tousi uses targeted and minimally invasive cosmetic techniques to create stunning smiles. Her results boost patients’ confidence and help them live their lives to the fullest.

Choosing the Right Cosmetic Dental Procedures for You

Not every cosmetic dental procedure will be suitable for each patient. The key to performing effective and attractive cosmetic dentistry is to choose the ones that suit your unique facial features, tooth colouration, the condition of your teeth, and your oral health.

Before we begin any work, we use cutting-edge tools and expert judgement to perform a complete examination of your teeth, gums, and jaw. We then determine the best ways to achieve an attractive smile. Our goal is to strike the perfect balance between aesthetic value, longevity, and function.

Composite Veneers

Cosmetic Dentistry

Composite veneers can be a fast, minimally invasive and inexpensive option for the beautiful smile you’re looking for.

composite veneer is an option that has been used in cosmetic dentistry for years and can transform your smile in just a single visit.

The process involves the skillful and artistic use of dental composite material (white filling material) directly shaped and molded on to the teeth to give the appearance of a straighter, whiter smile. This technique usually requires little to no drilling, and can be complete without injections.

Composite veneers cover the entire surface of the fronting and edge of your teeth. These are usually directly bonded on to the teeth to give the illusion of a more aligned and bright smile.

Composite resins are being used to do a variety of changes including:

  • Changing the size, shape, and alignment of certain teeth.
  • Closing spaces between teeth.
  • Lighten the color of teeth.
  • Repair broken, cracked, or chipped teeth.
  • Replace old, unattractive dental treatments.

Unlike porcelain veneer placement, which can often take more than two visits, composite bonding can be completed in one appointment, providing a ‘same day’ smile.

The average longevity for composite bonding and/or veneers depends on many factors including your oral health, home care, diet and your bite.

Dr. Tousi has been proudly providing composite veneers and cosmetic restorations to many of our patients.

We would love to help you achieve your dream smile and offer complimentary smile assessment to new patients. For more information about cosmetic dental treatments please contact us at 905-828-9894.

Porcelain Veneers

Composite And Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin custom-made shells designed by the dentist and fabricated by the lab to enhance your appearance by covering the front surface of the teeth. Veneers are bonded to the tooth, enabling the dentist to change the size, shape, length and color of teeth for the best possible cosmetic appearance.

We do check your teeth to make sure that porcelain veneers are right for you. After initial evaluation and discussing the process with our patients, we prep the tooth (teeth) and make impressions to custom fit your porcelain veneers. In a separate visit we bond the veneers to your teeth and give you all the instructions.

Porcelain veneers can help discolored Teeth: If your teeth are severely discolored and are resistant to teeth whitening and other treatments, Porcelain veneer might be the best option.

Damaged / Chipped / Broken and spaced  Teeth: A single damaged tooth (or multiple teeth) can quickly and easily be repaired with a porcelain veneer. They can also close the gaps between teeth with minimal prep.
